Human-centric organizations

Creating a brighter future depends on our collective ability to build human-centric organizations. Because when people thrive and their potential is liberated, they are empowered to drive positive change.

What is a human-centric organization?

A human-centric organization is one that puts people at the heart of everything it does.

It creates a working environment built on trust, relationships, and purpose. And it fosters the basic conditions people need to thrive, providing an expert combination of empathy, support and challenge.

Through a human-centric approach, an organization becomes mindful of its impact on the people it interacts with, and on the broader environmental, social and economic systems it's part of. It focuses on cultivating cultures of learning, innovation and collaboration. And it transforms itself for the future by putting those affected at the heart of every change initiative – creating positive impact through and with people.

Why do we need them?

Research has proven the business benefits of a human-centric approach, with these organisations shown to achieve significantly higher levels of performance, engagement and retention – all with lower levels of fatigue.

The complex global challenges we currently face offer us the opportunity to reimagine what business is for. They provide us with the chance to put purpose and positive impact at the heart of the agenda – alongside, not instead of, profit. But meaningful change always starts with people, and the possibility of a brighter future starts with organisations who are able to put people first.
